Whats the best way to build a room? It has to be mobile, tour the country and fit into a flexible area that is between 3 x 3,5 meters to 6 x 6 meters. This was the question Oriflame through Freshmind Group. The answer for us was simple; Maxibit Stage
We met event agency Freshmind Group in the beginning of 2011. They gave us a challenge. They wanted us to design a modern, youthfull and mobile room that would tour the land to an array of shopping centers in Sweden. The customer was Oriflame, a leader in the area of make-up, and the goal was to attract a younger crowd to the market.
We set to work, trying to balance style and mobility. We had to create an innovative room that was both secluded but also alluring. We needed to create a curiosity that could pull passersby into the room. It was obvious to us that Maxibit Stage was the perfect choice.
The result was a half-transparent room, made of flag material, that allowed passersby to see the action on the inside, but allowed those on the inside to get the feeling of seclusion. The fabric was divided into a number of sections, thus with the flexibility of Stage, the room could be scaled down or up depending on the size of the exhibition space. We also added a smart shelving system for Stage, allowing Oriflame to show off all there great products. A great hit!
