We are very happy to say that it’s back. You’ve been asking for it, and now it’s here better than before. For you who doesn’t know LaunchPack; LaunchPack is a desk that becomes it’s own carry case/suitcase. A desk that is multipurpose, catering for all your needs from media to mobile food preparation. During transportation and when it’s been set up it will look the same as its predecessor, but it will not feel the same in any way. Besides added stability, transportation safety it’s now possible to add custom tops in dibond or acrylic for example.

The general three major changes has been made with LaunchPack 2.0; stability, transportation safety and variation ability. Detailed changes listed below.

• The shells thickness has been increased by 50%
• The shells are stabilized over the radiuses with stabilizing/reinforcing indents
• The shells has separate indented grooves for a transportation safety belt
• A transportation safety belt is added
• The structure has been reinforced with torsion bars
• The structure has been reinforced with 20% increased radius on all extrusions
• The structure has been reinforced with locking magnets
• The locking function has been secured with a 300% larger and fixed base for added stability
• The structure and infills are no longer connected with plastic cups but has been integrated with high precision slides
• The structure fixtures has been changed from 36 flexible fixtures to 10 fixed fixtures to vastly increase stability
• All locking parts has been changed from extruded aluminum to die cast chromed zinc to ensure highest precision
• 4x transportation security locks has been implemented, also die cast zinc.
• The weight of the table top has come down with ~60%
• The locking function of the seal has been changed 2x one direction into 2x two direction to improve transportation safety
• The seal design has been change to receive custom material table tops such as wood, transparent material, composite sheets or any sheet material up to 6 mm to allow for creative custom solutions.
• The assembly line has a step-by-step quality control process and cutting-,punching- and fitting fixtures in all steps to ensure unit conformity and highest quality
• The overall weight has been decreased by ~30%
• LaunchPack is patented
