Early in December 2016 Cell Atlas part of the The Human Protein Atlas was launched at the annual American Society for Cell Biology conference in San Francisco. The whole Cell Atlas team was there to discuss science with anyone interested!
For this they needed a booth that could travel as one compact parcel for easy travel. We put together a Scene UltraLight together with two Zap D1 Rollups in a CounterCase.
The Human Protein Atlas project is funded by the Knut & Alice Wallenberg foundation.
The Cell Atlas is an open-access interactive database with unparalleled high-resolution images. It visualizes for the first time the location of over 12,000 proteins in cells.
The Cell Atlas was released at a well-attended Tech Talk, where Prof. Mathias Uhlen and Ass. Prof. Emma Lundberg presented the high-resolution proteome map of the human cell, the Cell Atlas. It is an image-based atlas detailing the subcellular distribution of the human proteome.
The whole day, many interested people came to their booth in the exhibition hall, wanting to learn more about the Atlas. They were there to share their knowledge on why and how to use the Human Protein Atlas database, with a focus on the new Cell Atlas.
